Procurement Specialist
Location: Bogotá, Colombia - Hybrid Work model
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to lead the procurement process in Colombia. This role is responsible for managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and driving efficient purchasing operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities, from sourcing to payment, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Coordinate with vendors to meet business needs and maintain alignment with organizational requirements.
- Oversee vendor evaluation, onboarding, and performance management to build a reliable supplier network.
- Negotiate pricing, service levels, and contract terms to achieve cost savings and mitigate risks.
- Manage procurement documentation, contracts, and agreements in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Project teams to support efficient procurement workflows.
- Monitor vendor performance and address issues or discrepancies as needed.
- Prepare procurement reports and conduct cost analyses to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation within the local market.
- Familiarity with Oracle or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
