About the Role
We are seeking a senior, entrepreneurial leader to head operations and business expansion initiatives in Mexico and the broader LATAM region. This role will have full responsibility for driving strategic execution, operational excellence, and commercial growth across multiple business lines, including joint ventures and regional expansion efforts. Reporting directly to executive leadership, the Managing Director will play a critical role in scaling operations, building long-term value, and positioning the business as a leader in innovative energy solutions across Latin America.
Key Functions
Lead the formation and execution of LNG/LCNG business initiatives, including joint ventures and full-cycle business plan delivery.
Own P&L and operational performance for LNG operations in Mexico, ensuring successful project launches and commercial ramp-up.
Oversee leadership transitions and ongoing performance of existing CNG operations, ensuring operational continuity and governance.
Develop and execute a strategy to expand and optimize CNG and LNG fueling networks across Mexico.
Lead all commercial activities, including sales, partnerships, and business development, in close collaboration with operations teams.
Evaluate and pursue opportunities to expand LNG solutions for transportation, aligned with long-term customer commitments.
Define and execute a LATAM growth strategy, anchored in Mexico’s energy, trading, and export infrastructure.
Identify, assess, and execute strategic investment and partnership opportunities across the region.
Key Requirements
10+ years of senior leadership experience in natural gas, LNG/CNG, or energy infrastructure sectors.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
Spanish and English proficiency strongly preferred.
Proven track record of scaling businesses, executing complex business plans, and managing full P&L responsibility.
Strong understanding of the Mexican and Latin American energy markets, including regulatory frameworks and supply chain dynamics.
Demonstrated commercial leadership, with experience negotiating long-term customer agreements and building robust sales pipelines.
