About the Opportunity
This full-time role offers hands-on responsibility across a wide variety of audit engagements, including nonprofits, governmental entities, affordable housing, employee benefit plans, foundations, charter schools, construction, and more. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with teams, guiding junior staff, and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Execute audits, reviews, and compilations while working closely with Audit Managers and Partners.
Help lead audit engagements, ensuring all work meets professional standards and deadlines.
Review and supervise staff auditors, providing coaching, feedback, and quality oversight.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and firm policies.
Analyze financial information, evaluate internal controls, and identify process improvements.
Support engagement planning, including assessing risk areas and defining timelines.
Perform advanced audit procedures and detailed financial analyses.
Maintain strong client relationships and support the audit team in addressing client needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
CPA license or active progress toward certification preferred.
3+ years of public accounting or audit experience.
Solid knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical, communication, and project‑management skills.
Ability to balance multiple priorities while delivering high‑quality work.
Availability to work on-site 3–5 days per week; reliable transportation required.
