Senior Account Manager
A well-established insurance consulting organization is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join its Miami office. This role supports a team of insurance professionals by managing and growing a book of commercial P&C business while partnering closely with producers to deliver exceptional client service and drive production.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience servicing complex commercial insurance accounts, strong carrier relationships, and a client-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Service, manage, retain, and expand an existing book of commercial P&C insurance business
Partner with agents by managing accounts and supporting their overall production goals
Initiate quote requests and market renewals and new business opportunities to carriers
Communicate directly with underwriters to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and secure quotations
Manage daily account service needs, including endorsements, policy changes, coverage inquiries, and loss reporting
Coordinate the binding process by collecting required documentation, securing signatures, and delivering executed materials to carriers
Ensure policy renewals are completed timely and conduct annual coverage reviews to confirm appropriate coverage levels
Maintain consistent client contact throughout the policy term to promote satisfaction and retention
Accurately enter and maintain policy data, endorsements, activities, renewal timelines, and correspondence in the agency management system
Prepare and coordinate delivery of certificates of insurance, policies, endorsements, and invoices
Maintain ongoing communication with senior leadership and internal stakeholders
Assist with the development of marketing and presentation materials, including PowerPoint decks and desktop publishing tasks
Produce correspondence, reports, charts, and basic analytical summaries as needed
Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and internal business initiatives
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
5+ years of proven experience managing and growing an existing book of commercial P&C insurance business
Active Florida 2-20 insurance license (required)
Professional fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Analytical skills to support issue resolution, reporting, and prioritization
Experience with AMS 360 or similar agency management systems strongly preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
